We brought The Green Room to Lord’s Cricket Ground for our debut Christmas Event, which saw guests enjoy a festive celebration like no other.

Guests were welcomed into The Green Room Live with a champagne reception, which offered the opportunity to rub shoulders with friends of The Green Room and Hospitality Finder’s brand ambassadors – Sir Anthony McCoy OBE, Mike Tindall MBE, Lawrence Dallaglio OBE and Darren Gough – before entering the main room to take their seats.

The festive luncheon was full of laughter from beginning to end as our fantastic Green Room host, Mark Durden-Smith, lead the event, starting with ‘The 12 questions of Christmas’.

If you weren’t there, we’ll let you in to a secret, we only made it to 6 questions!

In true Green Room fashion, Mark Durden-Smith asked the four ambassadors on stage questions from the audience, which included questions from our celebrity guests. It was fantasic to see some familar faces back inside The Green Room such as, Natalie Pinkham, Ronan Keating and wife Storm, Dragon’s Den Peter Jones CBE and Zara Phillip.

After a spectacular morning of superb food as well as banter with our celebrity guests, it was time for some live entertainment. A special performance from Britain’s Got Talent finalists DNA was on the cards as they got involved with the audience, creating a mind blowing interactive performance. Showcasing an exclusive performance that they had previously prepared for the final of the talent show, they shared unexplainable elements of mind reading and even included friend of The Green Room, Ronan Keating, to be a part of the act.

Following DNA’s spectacular performance, guests of The Green Room Live were invited to get involved with our charity auction, hosted by Jonny Gould. The auction raised over £30,000 for two superb charities; Dallaglio RugbyWorks and the Injured Jockey’s Foundation.

There was no better way to finish off the day than with some Christmas Carols. Host Mark Durden-Smith split the room in half and got everyone on their feet and into the festive spirit. Who knew Darren Gough could sing?!
