The F1 British Grand Prix is a staple of the racing calendar and a summer highlight for many Formula 1 fans. This year The Green Room returned and could be found at its new home in the fusion lounge, which offered guests incredible views across Stowe and Vale corners. Not only that but Green Room guests were treated to a full weekend of racing with hospitality from the practice session on Friday to the race day on Sunday.
Inside The Green Room were some old and new faces. We were joined by Green Room regulars Johnny Herbert and Sky Sports presenter Natalie Pinkham along with our newest member of the F1 panel Mark Webber. Guests were able to hear from this incredible line-up as they shared their favourite moments from Silverstone and their predictions for the weekend’s race.
Not only do our hospitality guests experience this insight into the sport but The Green Room offers drinks all day, gourmet dining with afternoon tea as well as grandstand seats so you can take in all the action from the race.
And what a race it was, with Carlos Sainz on pole it was looking like a Ferrari victory was possible as long as he could hold off current world champion Verstappen. After a dramatic race start which saw Guanyu Zhou suffer a bad crash on the first corner the race was re-started. Sainz led the restart and following trouble with Verstappen’s Red Bull Ferrari were able to stay in that top spot. A brilliant final few laps saw a great battle that put Brit Lewis Hamilton back on the podium at his home Grand Prix, which delighted many fans in the crowd. Carlos Sainz raced to victory getting his first win in F1 after 150 races in the sport.
We can’t wait to be back there next year and if you want to join us with hospitality at the 2023 British Grand Prix get in touch.
