The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will host the inaugural regatta ‘The Kings Cup’ this summer to raise awareness for eight of their Royal Highnesses’ patronages.
The Duke and Duchess will both be competing head to head against each other onboard the Performance First 40’s in a fleet of eight matched racing yachts. The winning team will be awarded ‘The Kings Cup’; a prestigious sailing trophy first presented by King George V at the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1920.
